Mask mandate fails again in Neosho

A face mask mandate was the topic of discussion Tuesday night in Neosho.

After over two and a half hours, the ordinance failed to pass after it did not get a second on the floor.

The council also talked about occupancy limits but that also failed to pass.

The discussion came after area hospitals asked for a mandate to be passed in the city to slow the spread of COVID-19.
