Assistant Principal for Nixa schools arrested overnight for child pornography.

A Nixa Junior High School assistant principal was arrested overnight for allegations of child pornography.

41-year-old Colby Jeremiah Fronterhouse was arrested Tuesday night and is currently being held in the Green County Jail.

This comes from a statement the district made to parents on Wednesday.

Fronterhouse had been an assistant principal at Nixa for nearly 12 years.

Fronterhouse worked as a science teacher at Reed Springs High School during the 2003-2004 year. He also taught science for three years at Springfield’s Parkview High School.

Fronterhouse was a high school principal for two years in Galena and then joined Nixa in 2009.
