Joplin offers free tree limb drop off site after weekend storm

Due to the high winds over the weekend, some residents have experience down limbs and branches. The City’s Public Works will open the Free Tree Limb Drop Off Site this week, starting Tuesday, June 20th. It will be open from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 through Friday, June 23.

The drop-off site is located at 1702 North Schifferdecker Avenue, just about a half-mile north of Belle Center Road on the west side of Schifferdecker.

Another option for residents is to bundle limbs and branches cut to 4-foot maximum length and place them at the curbside for pick up on their regularly scheduled trash service day.
