MSSU to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration will take place  from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight (Monday, January 20) at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.

The event will be held inside the Ron Richard Athletic Center on the MSSU campus.

The university will welcome Serita Eldridge, Co-Founder of SET Ranch & Prosperity Club, as the keynote speaker for the evening.

This celebration will honor the legacy and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., highlighting his commitment to social justice, equality, and nonviolent activism.

The event is free to the public and will provide opportunities for dialogue and reflection on Dr. King’s vision and how we can continue his work today.
