Kehoe to hold for State of the State Address, release state budget proposal on Tuesday

Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe is set to hold his first State of the State address today. 

Kehoe is primed to release more on his priorities as governor and the next state budget plan during his first State of the State Address. 

Two of Kehoe’s key priorities will be recruiting and retaining law enforcement officers and prosecutors, potentially with higher pay. 

He says other highlights of his Tuesday speech will include agriculture, economic development, and education.

The newly-installed Republican governor says the state’s next fiscal year budget is going to be tighter because less federal money is flowing into Missouri. 

Kehoe’s State of the State address is scheduled to begin at 3-PM.
