The Neveda Fire Department responded to a partial building collapse Tuesday evening.

Just after 5 PM Tuesday evening, reports were received by the Nevada Fire Department of a partial building collapse across from the Vernon County Courthouse.

Upon arrival at the location, observations were made regarding one of the walls at 101 East Cherry. The northwest wall had partially collapsed.

No injuries occurred as the building collapsed and the cause of the incident is unknown.

Utilities disconnect active lines that were still going to the location afterward.

The public is advised to avoid the area as portions of the building are still unstable.
