Pittsburg State University ROTC commissions 13 officers

Today in a formal ceremony at the Pittsburg State University Veterans Memorial, 13 ROTC cadets were commissioned as officers — the largest group in recent years.

Surrounded by proud family and friends, they took the next step in their journey, marking the beginning of their military careers.

Lt. Col. Dustin Blum, head of the university’s Military Science Department, shared an impactful address.

These new leaders graduate in Commencement ceremonies this weekend, taking with them a solid foundation on which to build as they serve their country.
