Manner of death released for man in Pittsburg

A final autopsy reportwas received last Thursday by Pittsburg, Kansas Police in reference to the death of 27-year-old Tokumatsu K. Platt of Pittsburg.

Officers found Platt’s body on fenced property belonging to the City of Pittsburg, along the base of a radio signal tower on April 16th.

His body subsequently was sent to Kansas City for an autopsy.

Based on examination findings and investigative information, authorities now say Platt died due to injuries sustained after falling from the tower and the Pathologist’s office has ruled the manner of death as self-inflicted.
